Lois Montgomery (Goldberg)
February 12, 1941 retired Married 8
After 26 years of teaching, mostly in Cedarburg, I am now mostly retired.  Today I am a very, very part time service consultant for A Gift of Time.   I am married to a now retired labor attorney and have three children, five step children and 15 grandchildren.  I enjoy reading, gardening, quilting, volunteering at a granddaughter's school, playing sheepshead and bicycling.  We spend time in Naples, Florida each winter and on Washington Island each summer.  It is sure fun to read all your bios and I look forward to seeing all of you "59 Blackshirts" in August.

Having missed several reunions, I'm looking forward to our 50th and reminiscing about what this old man recalls as a much kinder and gentler time.

I've had a good life with normalf changes, some better than others.  I've had fun and learned from them and am grateful I'm still here.
I'm sorry so many of my Calhoun classmates have passed on, grade school classmates are special.
If we don't meet in person this year, I wish you all well and would like to hear from you.

My life has changed drastically since the 50th class reunion. My wife Jean passed away suddenly on October 24, 2011. We had been married 49 ½ years. The last two years have been challenging. I’m not a very good cook, and most of all I dislike cleaning the house. You dust, vacuum, and clean, and six months latter you have to do it all again. I’m still in the same place with no immediate plans to move. Most of my family is in the Waukesha area, so maybe someday I’ll move back. I’m planning to attend at least some of the 55th reunion events, but not sure how it will feel attending as a single. Like all else, I guess I’ll find out.

I've been married for 48 wonderful years to my best friend David. In 1962 we moved to San Francisco to attend college. San Francisco was a beautiful place for us to live in the 60's, when the Hippies and college was free and easy. Wisconsin seemed to be a better choice to raise a family, so Dave finished his Dental school at Marquette, and graduated in 1972 with me tending to our growing family. Dave practiced Dentistry for 32 years in New London and is now retired. We divide our time between home and Kelly Lake, the 6 grandchildren and touring with antique cars around the country.
